Events & Public Programs - Chestnut Hill Farm

Opportunity Overview: 
Our community farm offers many opportunities for families to experience this beautiful rural property. Chestnut Hill Farm offers a variety of events and public programs throughout the year to engage and inspire the next generation to love nature and the environment. Come join us at the farm! 
 
Reports to: Engagement Manager 

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following): 
  • Communicate effectively with staff, visitors and volunteers
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Answer questions about Chestnut Hill Farm 
  • Check guests in and provide general wayfinding information
  • Assist with run of event 
  • Assist with set up and break down of event
  • Adhere with The Trustees safety protocols
  • Sign up for your availability
Qualifications: 
  • Interest in working outdoors
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to walk on a variety of surfaces
  • Outgoing, positive demeanor with a willingness to learn 
  • Ability to work some weekend days 
  • Ability to provide own transportation to the farm
  • Please note: a background check is required for this role
