Opportunity Overview:
Winterlights is a family-friendly, visual evening time holiday light extravaganza! The evening will include something for the entire family – music, hot chocolate and dazzling light displays. Come join our team to make this event a magical one for our community!
This year Winterlights will take place on Wednesdays-Sundays from November 29-January 4. We will be closed on December 25, but open on January 1 and with additional dates on December 17, 23, and 31. The volunteer shift time is 3:00pm-8:30pm.
On December 26th and 27th we will start one hour earlier for a Sensory-Friendly hour for an inclusive Winterlights experience.

Event Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following):
- Meet and greet visitors
- Assist with parking and wayfinding
- Assist with refreshments
- Monitor the lights and decorations
- Provide information about the Estate and the house
- Educate the public about the goals of the Trustees and the benefits of being a Trustees’ member
- Assist with set up and clean up nightly
- Communicate regularly with staff
Qualifications:
- Have reliable transportation to the Estate
- Excellent customer services and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and dress appropriately for the weather
- Ability to walk on varying surfaces including grass, pathways and trails
- Please note: volunteers must be 18 years old or older; a background check is required for this role
