Events & Public Programs - Bird

Opportunity Overview:
Francis William Bird Park seeks volunteers to assist at various public events. Volunteers may be asked to work off hours, as the events may occur on weekends or after working hours. This is a hands-on opportunity that will allow volunteers to connect more deeply with the community and the park, while also developing more skills around event planning and hosting. Successful volunteers are friendly, enthusiastic, willing to learn on the job, reliable, and good representatives of The Trustees.

For more than a century, The Trustees has been on the ground in communities across Massachusetts, working to protect special places, providing loving care of our reservations, building creative new programs to engage people, and sharing our expertise with neighbors and partners across the state. Come be a part of our team! This opportunity will also build a volunteer’s expertise and assist in transferable and marketable skills.
