Spring Bloom Flower Bouquet Harvesting – Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens

Opportunity Overview:
The gardens at Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens in North Andover is getting ready for all the Spring flowers blooming in our gardens! This year we are incorporating freshly harvested bouquets available for purchase in our retail shop so visitors can take a piece of the gardens home with them. Currently, The Trustees is looking for a core group of volunteers to assist with the harvesting and bouquet assembly of tulips and other Spring bulb flowers.

This opportunity is for individuals who enjoy the beauty of annual and perennial flowers, wishing to learn more about the care of cut flowers both in the gardens and after harvesting in preparation of bouquet assembly. Training will be provided, by our experienced staff, so no previous knowledge of the property, floral arranging, or a green thumb is required...just an excitement and curiosity to learn!

About Our Flower Harvesting
Our freshly harvested bouquets are comprised of gently grown flowers grown in our gardens using sustainable practices overseen by our Horticulture Department. We will be harvesting 5 days a week during our three-week Spring Blooms event to assemble a set number of bouquets per day that will be available for purchase. All proceeds help to directly benefit Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens to ensure we can continue the mission of The Trustees in preserving exceptional places.
