Remote Volunteer Reporting Team

Opportunity Overview:
Volunteers are at the heart of the Trustees – communities of individuals, organizations and companies committed to preserving and protecting the places we love for all to enjoy. Volunteerism has been a cornerstone of the Trustees’ since 1891 in conserving land for people and continues to play a role in shaping its future.

The Volunteer Services Team is currently recruiting individuals to assist with data input and report creation. This is a statewide, remote opportunity reporting to the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, with the goal of streamlining data management and developing monthly dashboard reports to analyze volunteer goals and KPIs. Consider bringing your skills to the Trustees to support the Volunteer Services Team goals, engaging with other volunteers and staff of all levels and learning the nuts and bolts of non-profit operations.

Note: This role may require a background check

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following):

• Assist with maintaining our volunteer management system, HandsOnConnect (HOC)
• Ensure volunteer records are accurate and current
• Input volunteer data such as hours, contact information, etc.
• Assist with creating accurate dashboards and monthly reports
• Communicate effectively with staff and other volunteers
• Log volunteer hours

Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel (required)
• Experience with HandsOnConnect and/or Salesforce (desired, but not required)
• Enjoy working with data
• Attention to detail
• Excellent organization, prioritization, presentation skills
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Enjoy working with people
• Have reliable access to internet, personal computer and phone

Time Commitment:
We’re flexible! Ideal candidate will be available for one 4-hour shift, one day a week, Tuesday – Thursday, either 9:00 am – 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
