Opportunity Overview:
Join us at
Appleton Farms this spring for a Volunteer Work Day Saturday May 14th. Neighbors and community members will work together between 9am-12pm to clean up Wheelers Oaks and Prince of Wales.
Volunteers are welcome to come as individuals, families, or groups! All ages are welcome, but those under 15 must come with an adult.
Appleton Farms is one of the oldest continuously operating farms in America. Come help us celebrate spring and care for this incredible place!
Reports to: Engagement Manager
Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following):
- Projects include clearing branches and clean up projects.
- Adhere to The Trustees safety and COVID-19 protocols
- Maintaining communication with staff
Qualifications:
- Able to follow instructions and work in a team
- Dress in appropriate clothes and footwear
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and ability to bend
- Ability to walk on a variety of surfaces including grass or uneven surfaces
Time Commitment Needed: Saturday May 14th 9am-12pm
