Farm Days - Appleton Farms

Opportunity Overview:
Come celebrate the fall season on America's oldest working farm! Grab your friends and family and join us at Appleton Farms for our annual Family Farm Day! Visit with our farm animals, play games and make crafts, and more! 

This year's Farm Days are September 16th and 17th, with a set up day on September 15th. Volunteers are an important part of farm day, helping from set up to break down, making sure crafts and activities run smoothly, and helping create a welcoming, inclusive event for visitors and families. 

Reports to: Engagement Manager

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to the following):

  • Volunteer roles include:
    • Set-Up Crew
    • Greeter/Info Table
    • Parking Assistance
    • Compost and Recycle Maintenance
    • Children's Crafts and Activities Helper
  • Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and visitors
  • Adhere to The Trustees safety protocols
  • Sign-up for your availability
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Have reliable transportation to Appleton Farms
  • Minimum age: 14 years old
  • Please note: A background check may be required for this role
