Winterlights Set-Up - Bradley

Opportunity Overview
This 90-acre country retreat sits only a short distance from hectic Rt. 128, yet will transport you back 100 years to a bucolic world of majestic homes, elegant gardens, carriage rides, fields and woodlands – all the amenities of gracious, turn-of-the-century living in the Neponset River Valley.
 
Winter Lights is a visual evening time holiday light extravaganza planned for the Bradley Estate each weekend, Friday-Sunday, November 22, 2019 - December 29, 2019. The evening will include fun activities and crafts for the entire family, music, hot chocolate and maybe a surprise visit from Santa!
There are so many ways for volunteers to get involved!
 
Set-up Starting in September:
Each Thursday from September 19 - November 14, you are invited to join our staff and other volunteers to help set up the various Winter Lights displays. Volunteers are welcome to come for the morning shift, or assist for the entire day! 

Set-Up Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Clearing trails and other trail maintenance tasks
  • Spreading mulch
  • Hanging lights and decorations
  • Communicate regularly with staff
  • Sign-up for your available days
Qualifications
  • Have reliable transportation to the Estate
  • Good communication skills
  • Dress in appropriate clothes and footwear for varying weather conditions
  • Able to walk on uneven surfaces, bend and lift upwards of 10 pounds

Time Commitment Needed
Thursdays September 19 – November 14, 9 am – 1 pm or 9 am - 5 pm.; occassional Saturday dates will be added as needed.
