April Vacation Week Assistant - Weir River Farm
Opportunity Overview The Trustees is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to help support our April Vacation Week programs at Weir River Farm in Hingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in engaging children in a variety of programs. April Vacation Week will run from April 18th -21st, Tuesday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Responsibilities
- Support the Engagement Manager with a variety of tasks including supervising children, assisting with activities, crafts and games, distributing snacks
- Communicate with parents as needed
- Log volunteer hours
Qualifications
- Age minimum: 18 years old
- Willingness to work outside in spring conditions with children
- Ability to walk on a variety of surfaces including grass and other uneven surfaces
- Desire to work at a farm
- Excellent communications skills
Time Commitment April 18th – 21st, Tuesday – Friday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
