Overview
An Old-Fashion Christmas returns to Bryant Homestead this December to rekindle the enchantment of Christmas! Includes festively decorated rooms, seasonal refreshments, a holiday pop-up shop of local artisans, and entertainment. Get into the spirit by signing up to help with refreshments, the gift shop or as a Room Greeter. Event passes available. 2 -4 hr shifts. Teens welcome. 

Responsibilities
Specific roles include:
​-Greeters for Parlor, Dining Room, Travel Room, Caretaker's Room
-Gift Shop Assistant
-Refreshments Assistant

Responsibilities vary by position, but include some or all of the following:
-Interact with visitors
-Gather information from visitors for mailing lists and promotional outreach
-Promote upcoming programs to be held at properties in the region
-Promote the Trustees’ mission, provides membership information and (for pre-approved  volunteers) 
-Seek out and approaches groups to welcome them 
-Monitor use of property including instructing visitors, as needed, on site safety regulations  

Qualifications
-Excellent people and communication skills-friendly, customer-centric, enjoys and seeks out opportunities to interact with visitors 
-Desire to meet with the public, and share knowledge of the property and the Trustees --Interest and ability to work with diverse visitors 
-Ability to communicate with supervisor via email and phone 
-Commitment to reporting your service hours via the Trustees volunteer website (if not pre-scheduled).

Time Commitment
2-4 hours. 12/3, 12/4, 12/10 or 12/11. Event passes offered to volunteers able to assist 4 hours or more.
